I lay awake every night and wake up early every morning. I just can't freakin' wait! That small cozy space, being debt free and relatively self reliant sounds outstanding. Design and re-design, always designing. That's all right and probably a pretty good way to go. I am so excited to see this thing start happening in the "real" world.
I sent off my truss designs to a new company this morning. Hopefully they can give me a better bid than I got last time. The last company gave me a quote of $1700 for the family cabin. That's for six 20' span trusses! That's just dishonest if you ask me.
