The Plan... in a nutshell

So, where do I start? We are a family of 8 looking to start a new adventure. One towards independence and self sufficiency so much as possible in a small footprint. We will be building a parent's cabin, a girl's cabin, a boy's cabin, and a family cabin housing a kitchen, dining room and family room. Electricity will be generated on site with solar panels and rainwater collected from the roofs. Our gardens will be watered with greywater. Composting toilets will be utilized. This is going to be a crazy adjustment; one that I look forward to immensely!
